Known issues we've tracked
PRICE CHECK -- PLANS RESTRUCTURED: ESSENTIAL GONE, PREMIUM $12.99, NEW PROFESSIONAL $24.99 (verified 2026-10-15 on the live pricing page): GPTZero now lists **Free (10,000 words/month)**, **Premium $12.99/month billed annually (300,000 words)** and **Professional $24.99/month billed annually (500,000 words, up to 2M words overage, 250-file batches, LMS integration)**, with a self-serve Professional Team plan (minimum two seats). The page had shown Free at 5,000 words, **Essential $10 (150,000 words)** and **Premium $16** since April -- Essential no longer exists. The annual toggle advertises 'Save 45%'; monthly prices were not rendered in the scrape. The API is priced separately.
